Confey Applies for Green Flag

Confey Community College has been busy developing it's litter and waste management programme over the past year and has launched several successful initiatives such as; collecting mobile phones, batteries and glass for recycling; replacing and introducing new litter and recycling bins; and carrying out various litter action and awareness projects. As a result the school has recently applied to An Taisce for the Green Flag Award.

Confey Community College Update

This year Confey Community College added new members to the committee. Since then they have been very active with tackling litter and waste in the school. Every Wednesday and Friday all students within their tutor groups coordinate recycling from each of the classrooms. In addition, the committee surveys litter around the school on a weekly basis and these findings are being fed back to management.
